Hangover. I’ve just been to the Vertical Horizon Live in Manila concert in Araneta and I just have to rave about it.
Even if I knew about the concert weeks ago, this was a last minute thing. Nagkayayaan lang kami kanina, parang napag-usapan lang tapos nang sinabi sa’kin na “Tara?!” sagot ko naman “Sige!”
To think I have an MA class which goes until 8:30pm and the gig begins at 7pm, kamusta naman. I can’t miss school so I prayed hard na mga opening act lang (pero sayang, ‘maya rin yun) mamiss ko. Sakto. We just purchased our tickets there and when we went inside haha! Di pa nagsisimula ang VH.
Mga three or four songs palang naka-quota na kami. They sang songs mostly from their albums “Everything You Want” and “Go” so yung mga bagu-bago lang. Since our budget only allowed us Upper Box seating, pangit kuha ko ng pics at vid (let’s just say di makilala sa screen mga pagmumukha nila). Bukod pa yun sa fact na talon ako ng talon habang hawak yung camera so good luck… Swerte pa nga na may footage ako kahit papano kasi dahil di nga planado, di nako nakapagcharge ng anything and I have no extra mem card with me. Oh well, just some proof that we were there:

Thanks Marge! Definitely one of the best ways to end the work week. Everyone would now figure out the reason why if we come to work on Monday with hoarse voices. :)
