You're a cyborg but that's ok

Looking for a chance to be something more than just metal
Sometimes you feel you’re a mere kind of possession… an object much like someone’s favorite gadget valued for its usefulness and functions. You’re handy and always reachable, almost the same as a common laptop, a cellphone or a camera, a constant companion in the bag or pocket.

You are needed for certain things, but easily ignored, shelved or forgotten once you served your purpose. You’re lucky if you could necessitate a search. And having emotions are not required. You can ‘beep’ all you want but when things don’t make sense, you’re put on Mute or Silent. Then/or you get discharged.
At present, you’re being taken care of: oiled, glued, bandaged, repaired, perhaps because it would be more costly in the long run if you’re left without maintenance.
But the ironic thing is, unlike purchased machines, for you, there are no warranties. Only expiration dates.
Kamusta naman ang dose ng pessimism.
P.S. Stop beating yourself up with the past. Everything’s okay now. Just learn how to trust, give up hope and keep your strength up.
